ABOUT THIS MAKEUP LOOK↓

A while ago Stephanie Nadia approached me with the idea to do a collaboration featuring different nymphs...so I definitely couldn't resist :3 She decided to do a celestial nymph, Courtney did a woodland nymph, and well I...decided to do an underworld nymph. I had to do it, seriously, right up my alley, eh.

In Greek this nymph is called Lampades. Unfortunately there isn't much information about these nymphs available, except that they are described as being very beautiful and carry torches to accompany the goddess Hecate.

So I decided to come up with my own concept, using the Greek underworld as inspiration. The Greek underworld, unlike the typical description of Hell, isn't a place where dead people go to suffer and burn, but is instead a dark, damp and gloomy place underneath the Earth, so I decided to stick to duller, cooler colors. I also wanted to create scarification on my face, hence the Christmas trees :P I also repeated the same gloomy/cool colors in the skulls, rings and forehead piece I made.

The accessories alone took 2 weeks to make, very exhausting process X_X But I learned quite a lot!
