Hello!

I feel like, in a way, this video is like me getting back to my roots. It took me several days to edit, it's OTT, but what the heck!

I started using this mask recipe a few years ago, and stopped while I was in Japan. But I've always wanted to share it with you! One of the original recipes however uses milk or milk powder. That's a big no-no for me! So here's my twist on a classic, which is even better for you!

This DIY mask helps to brighten the skin, minimise pigmentation or hyper-pigmentation, calms the skin, reduces redness, reduces acne, reduces scarring and helps to easily exfoliate the skin!

TURMERIC MASK:

1 spoonful of turmeric powder
1 spoonful of ground oats
Water

OPTIONAL: A few drops of Tea Tree Oil

Mix it all together until you get a smooth paste, not sloppy! Apply to your skin, leave for 20 minutes and wash off. If there is any yellow residue, you can use a toner to remove it.

Q&A:
"Won't this stain my skin??" Nope! I have very pale skin, and I've never had this turmeric mask, or any other, stain my skin!

"Do I have to use Tea Tree Oil?" Nope! Optional extra.

"How often should I use it?" Twice a week is fine! You should start to see results after a couple of weeks.

"Are you sure you're not a crazy person?" Hmmm... I'll get back to you on that...
