Hey hey,

This video is ever so slightly erratic, maybe the story or the reasons aren't 100% clear, it's a little 'stream of consciousness' and a little 'what the bloody hell...'

I think the only bit I wanna clarify is the pet shop bit making me vegetarian. It's not that I ate cat or dog! But it was more like the straw that broke the camel's back - I had already seen too many awful things related to animals in the country and out of compassion for the animals, decided to stop engaging with it all. No more visits to aquariums, no more torturous zoos, no more "cute" pet stores. It's not cute, it's not nice, it's not funny.

Veganism is not a stupid, throw-away 'trend'. If you're vegan for the right reasons, then no matter what, you won't give up your convictions, because you know the honest truth.

I think that's why I disliked a lot of the "I'm vegan!" videos I'd see on youtube. I didn't believe them, and would feel like eating more chicken to compensate for their 'screwed up opinion'!

Things have changed, I've changed, I've seen too many things to make me think that veganism is simply the most logical way forward. Help the animals, help the environment, help your fellow human being. Make positive choices, think about your impact on the planet and proceed with compassion!

Besides - have you tasted vegan desserts and burgers?! Ohhhh myyyyy goddddd... YUM!
