ABOUT THE SERIES ↓
The Makeup of the Zodiac Series is my first makeup series where I create extreme, theatrical looks of each sign based on my personal interpretation of the sign's characteristics and symbolism. These looks will not follow the typical interpretations people have done in the past (i.e.; many people do a mermaid look for Pisces, but I don't want to do that).

ABOUT SCORPIO

Ah, my sun sign! Scorpio is often associated with death, so stereotypically I went for a skull look - but this time made it different. I've always imagined the universe to have jewel colors and it reminds me of rhinestones or paintings sometimes, so naturally I decided to put a bunch of rhinestone all over my face. I guess I'm being true to my sign by going all or nothing with these rhinestones, my first time playing with rhinestones btw :3

I had a concept of a skull breaking through this face of jewels as well, sort of like a butterfly emerging from a cocoon - Scorpio is a very transformative sign, and is also symbolized by the Phoenix. I also incorporated the Phoenix with the feather necklace I made, which looks like a 5 year old glued it together in real life, but hey, don't think it's that noticeable in the video -_-;

I winged this as well, like I did with Leo. I mulled over the idea for a couple of weeks and made the props in advance, but otherwise I just winged it, which is why for some parts I used a black eyeshadow instead (easier to remove if I fudge up).

LAST look is next week. It's almost over T_T But I'm super excited to move onto my new makeup series, which I want to start in mid to late February.
