I have my lobes pierced (did it when I was 11) and my septum, which I did a little over two months ago(see profile picture).

I actually did it unprofessionally, which I don't advocate to anyone, but for me, it worked out gloriously. I spent about...27 dollars on ordering equipment I needed for it (needle, rings and clamps) and I already had the products to sterilize them with.

For me it was totally worth it, I had been doing a lot of research on it since I have been wanting to get it done for over a year.. I am glad I was patient though, I don't think anyone should rush getting a piercing.

EDIT: Again, would never advocate this. Plus, if you get it done at a professional piercing artist, you have someone to blame, haha. I took a risk and luckily everything went well for me, I have not had any infections or anything and I have cleaned it every day.

I always thought unique piercings (other than earlobes) were for people with more edgy sort of rocker style. I've also always thought they were so cool! I want one but I don't know what would suit my more "girly" personality. I don't want to look weird with a face piercing that seems out of place. Any suggestions?
