You can use a bobby pin, toothpick, or the bottom of a makeup brush. But if you want a kit, I suggest looking online. Amazon has neat ones and several beauty suppliers have them, too.

I use a q tip and it works fine :) If not try any beauty supply store they sell them for under $10

Stick a straight pin (like the kind used for holding fabrics) and still it into an eraser on a pencil. Works exactly like a sitting tool and costs literally 10 cents.

Toothpick. Or an old pen tip. Works like a charm.

eBay sell them cheap, but bobby pins, old dried pens, paper clips or toothpicks all work well :)

The best DIY I've seen is to put a pin you would use for keeping things together while sewing and stick the pointy end into a pencil's eraser. Very quick and cost less way to get a dotting tool!
