Do you use a basecoat? I only have 1 streaky Essie and its a gold color, forgot what its called and too lazy to get up but other Essies I love. (:

It most likely isn't the nail polish, but it could be a few other things:
1. You might need an extra coat or two, to get uniform color distribution with a sheer nail polish.
2. The nail polish that has already been applied the nail hasn't completely dried before you went to apply the next coat causing it to lift the semi-wet polish a bit and creating a streaky appearance.
3. You are going over your polish with the brush after it's already began to dry.
4. The polishes are starting to thicken from the lid not being closed tightly or even from just too much air exposure, which you would need a nail polish thinner to fix.
Also, do you wear basecoat? A lack of basecoat, or even just excessive oil or sporadic dry patches on the nails can cause streakiness from the product catching too much polish in some places and not adhering to other areas at all.

Hope that helped! =P

I have several Essie colors that I absolutely LOVE but whenever I use them I notice that they go on very streaky. Any tips?!
