I really love neutral shades but I'm not sure if I wanna spend the money.

I think it's worth it...I'm sure someone will respond with who's duping it if you don't want to be spendy =)

Yes and no. I love it because it's basically everything I need (plus a few shades I wouldnt buy on their own, but ended up loving) It does depend how much you are into shadows. If it matters to you the quality, then it's worth it. If you want tho, you can always purchase it and try it out, and if you dont like it, return it! At first when I bought it, I thought I was wasting my money, then I realized it's been the only thing I have used since I got it and I've loved all the looks I have been able to put together with it.

Honestly, it wasn't for me. Don't get me wrong, the quality of this pallete great, the colors are beautiful & overall is an amazing pallet - but it was personally nothing new for me.
I didn't find a use of it in my collection. I'd still end up reaching for other products & other shades in different palletes when doing a neutral eye & I didn't really like that.

In the end, if you already have a pretty good collection, it all comes down to preference. If I had the money to throw around, I definitely would have kept this - but those $50 went towards something I actually enjoyed. :)

In going off of what Andrea G said, it's good to keep in mind what you have. I barely had any shadows at the time I bought it, so it definitely gave me all the necessities of neutrals, and I rarely look at neutral eye shadows anymore. But if you do have a lot of neutrals, you might not need it!

If you do not have a large collection or a very big variety of eye shadows, then this is definitely worth it because it is all you would need! But if you have a ton of neutral eye shadows it would probably not be anything you are missing and you skip it.

I definitely think it was worth it. I carry that thing with me wherever I go. I can make a whole bunch of looks perfect for daytime or night time. I dorm at my college & it's my go to palette & it's so easy to transport since I go home on weekends. It's basically the palette I reach for all the time. I've had it for over a year & not one shadow has a dip in it from using it too much. They're very pigmented so a little goes a very long way. & if $50 buck sounds like a lot to you, you can break it up to justify the price so all 12 shadows cost around $4 plus a makeup brush & a mini primer potion. It is a matter of preference & I'm sure you can find a dupe for it, but it's such a staple in my collection. It just depends how often you're going to use it & how you value it.

i really think its worth it if you dont have too much makeup, its all the neutral shades you need all in one pallete and if you think of it your getting lots of eyeshadows for the price of like 4 mac shadows and you get a primer and a brush! so i say if you have the money go for it :)

Omg, this was so much help! I think I'm going to buy it :) Thank you so much girls!

I did the math on this before and the answer is yes it is worth it. Full blog entry:
http://zadidoll.blogspot.com/2011/06/sigma-bare-eyeshadow-palette-with-dual.html

Naked costs $48 and contains 12 shadows - 12 x 1.3g e 12 x 0.05 US oz; Eyeshadow Primer Potion: 3.7ml e 0.13 US fl oz. The primer alone costs $9 and their brush is $22. Each of their individual shadows (0.05 US oz) costs $17. The value on Naked is $235.

So do the math...

$48 kit - $22 brush - $9 primer = $17 for the palette alone.
$17 ÷ 12 shadows = $1.42 per shadow ($1.416666666666667)

Regular price per shadow - $17
$17 x 12 = $204

So yes, it's a fantastic deal.

NYX made a similar palette that I like MUCH better. My gripe with the Naked palette is that there's too many shimmery shadows. But this is just my personal preference, I wanted the versatility that matte shadows offer.

i do have the naked palette and love it but im hitting pan on a few colours and dont think i will repurchase it. it is a wonderful palette but as beautiful as the colours are they are just neutral shades im sure i can find in cheaper but still great palettes.

YES!
Definitely worth the money! The colours are GREAT and really pigmented and I use it EVERY time I put on makeup! It's also great value for a palette because if you buy the shadows separately, they're worth over $200, which means you're paying a little less than a quarter of the price, plus five of the shadows are BRAND new! However, if you're more into a variety of colours, like nudes, brights and darks all in the one palette, UD's new 15 year anniversary would probably be a better investment, especially cause EVERY ONE of the shadows in that palette are brand new :D Hope this advice helps!

I love my naked eye palette! I would definitely recommend it! I use it in a lot of my tutorials and on a daily basis. If you have the money I think it is worth the splurge.

it depends on the neutral shadows you already have. if you already have a good collection of neutrals, you really don't need it. it is a great palette, though. i bought it 'cause i don't have too many neutrals and i use it almost every day. i also like the fact that it's small and easy to travel with.

I like to nude on nude palette by NYX! Same concept but you get 24, and 10 glosses! :]

i LOVE my naked palette because the shadows don't create a lot of fall-out while cheaper shadow palettes, such as the ones from NYX... NYX shadows have terrible consistency and creates WAY TOO much fallout when your applying them onto your lids. when i try to do a smokey eye with the NYX palettes, all the dark eyeshadows end up falling down to my cheeks. The naked palette is definitely worth your money if you want amazing eyeshadows.

Denise has a point, but the NYX is basically a quarter of the price considering the fact that you get twice as many shadows. I don't mind fallout much, because all you have to do is sweep it off with a fan brush. that's just me though, but 1/4 of the price for some fallout? totally worth it in my opinion. Also, the NYX ones have pretty legit pigmentation! :]

I've never regretted buying my Naked palette and I managed to find one around the time it was released. It seems like the longer I have it, the more I appreciate it. It really is one of the most portable, usable palettes out there. It's incredibly travel friendly, not only for yourself but any freelance work as well. While it seems like most of the colors are pretty standard, Urban Decay did an excellent job of selecting the perfect tone and finish of each color. Sin and virgin are universal colors and some of the best you can highlight your eyes with, in my opinion. I've also applied both as a cheek highlight with my fingers. The matte colors, buck and naked, are amazing for contouring eyes. I think this palette is a necessity in anyone's make-up collection if only because the colors were picked very thoughtfully and it really shows. Excellent quality, excellent colors and really versatile overall.

It is absolutely worth the money. You're not just receiving the palette. You also get the lid primer. Plus, the colors do not go on ashy at all.

Yes! It's worth every penny! It's my favourite palette ever and has all the colours you'll ever need to do neutral/smoky eyes!
