Have you tried cranberry juice? It brings out natural red highlights for darker hair color.
Also honey seems to work too

Not sure if there is any but DON"T use lemon on brown or darker color hair--the results will be really brassy :(

I have dark brown hair and I'm not ready to dye it just yet. Has anyone got good tips to get natural highlights? I know you can use lemon juice and water but I think that's only for blondes? Any tips for brunettes?
