I just zap mine in the microwave (only do if its in a glass container) for a few seconds. Saves me the hassle of playing chemist and screwing up the formula.

I recommend mixing up the dried up eyeliner, which will help revive it! No need to add heat or other products guys! Saves us all money without having to buy something. Definitely great for people who are on a budget. Hoped this trick helps some of you.

Also store them upside down will help prevent drying.

I saved one of my cream eyeliners by melting it down again. Take a pot of boiling water and put a paper plate over it. Sit the eyeliner on top of the plate and it should melt down. Then just stir it up with a toothpick! Saved a number of my gel liners! :)

that's cool i will have to remeber that one

I've watched a YouTube video on how to save your cream eyeliners. Put a few drops of contact solution or eye drops in it and mix it up and it will be creamy again. The video was by LetitiaLaura if you want to check it out! Also- I believe the eyeliner she was fixing was also an elf eyeliner.

How long have you owned it? Usually when it's dried up, it's a sign that you should toss it. I'd just suggest purchasing another one.

I purchased an elf eyeliner in the color ivory. I loved the color but unfortunately when I opened it up it was dried up. At this point most people would toss it but I was determined to save it. So I filed it to the brim with water, closed it up and let it soak overnight. This loosened it up but it was still not the right consistency. So I added a couple drops of vegetable oil and mashed it up with a toothpick to get it evenly distributed all throughout the product. Bam! It was restored to the normal consistency of gel eyeliner. So I thought this tip might help those with dried up liners they love.
