I love this thread. I kinda felt like the ugly duckling all through middle school and high school since my skin was terribly oily and acne prone. When i learned how to properly apply my make up i started to think that i was actually kind of pretty. The downside to that was that instead of embracing make up as a way to enhance my natural features i thought of it more as a mask that without i would go back to being the ugly duckling. I used to never leave the house without make up on. I've gotten better over the years but i still have trouble going out without at least a little foundation and mascara. Seeing all you beauties rocking the natural look is so inspiring. While it is a little nerve racking to post a picture of myself without make up online i cant wait to post my own picture here.
