Hey beauty gurus , I was just wondering if it makes any difference if you mix your primer with foundation and apply it at once,or if you use the primer, then wait for a little while and start applying foundation. Does it even make a difference? if yes, please share! xx

The only time I ever mix my primer with foundation is when it is a cream foundation to give it more mobility I guess you could say? It is more sheer but I like to think foundation is more for evening out the skin tone than absolute coverage.

I mix BB cream in with my liquid foundation when I use liquid foundation as I'm currently using mineral powder. I've never had a loss of coverage or had a problem with my foundation become more sheer by mixing but I don't mix equal amounts of primer to foundation. Experiment with the ratio and see what ratio you like. :D I use 1:4 ratio - 1 drop BB cream, 4 drops foundation.

I apply my foundation primer first and then I wait a few seconds then apply my foundation; I get great coverage. I haven't tried mixing foundation and primer together....

I apply primer first. It is a layer between your skin and foundation that I feel that stops the foundation from clogging pores.
