its a MATCH! definitely... if not with my outfit though I like it to be either nude/taupe/black/caramelish calm colors that tend to match the majority of my outfits [:

No!! Most times colors look better on your fingers then toes and vise versa

They maybe match once or twice a year! Normally I change my nail art on my nails more than once a week (to be able to film a lot tutorials). However the nail polish on my toe nails stay very long and I usually won't change it for weeks! I do think that matching them is beautiful though:)

I always have my nails & toes pristinely painted but my toes are always light pink or nude & my nails are usually all different colors, I prefer them different, (:

i prefer mine to not match just because it's boring when they do match.. i also find that i don't ever notice my nails or toes when they're designed the same.. idk. but i just like having different colors or designs for my toes and nails.

I prefer not to have mine match... I think it's more fun... But then again I'm very artsy and out there so I like bright colors or pastels on both with an accent nail that's usually glitter or a different color

I guess I'm the odd one out: I cannot match. It would bother me too much if the colors are even similar. I would rather go without polish than paint toe nails and finger nails the same color. Right now, my toes are shimmery turquoise and my fingers are red sparkly French tips. As long as the toes and fingers are completely different, I'm happy. Doesn't matter which is the lighter or darker one.

Nope, I would put darker color on toe and lighter color on finger nail. Sometime mismatch could be perfect match ^o^

Nope, don't need to match. Mine do, my daughters' don't. My eldest school colors are red and gold (and black) but her class color is green so on spirit day she wears all four colors. My middle daughter's school colors are navy and gold, when she enter high school next year her class color will be pink (plus red, gold and black). When my youngest daughter enters her class color will be the same as the eldest's current one (the 4 class colors are pink, orange, green & blue which rotate every year from the outgoing seniors to the incoming freshmen).

I don't match them. I don't paint them on the same days so it's usually whatever strikes me when I sit down to paint them. I actually feel alittle awkward if I end up wearing the same color on my toes and nails

For the Most part yes!
But my toes and finger nails never have the same color on them and if they do my toes will the have a design. I dont have to be an obvious matchy matchy type of person! i normally always hair a red toned nail polish on and my toes i go wild!!

If I'm wearing open toe shoes and going somewhere extra special then I do like for them to match otherwise just in general not really. I like to change my fingernail polish every couple of days cause I either get bored of the color or because the polish started to chip and I just don't have the time to do both fingernails and toenails.

I purposely never match them. I do however try to make them be somewhat complimentary and not too weird (like I'm not going to have cool blue-purple toes with bright neon yellow fingers. Though that does sound intriguing...)

I have to say mine do not match as in the same colour but they do match as in they are along the same colours.

At the minute I have a french manicure on my nails and baby pink on my toes - so they match and they don't.. if that makes sense!

If I'm doing them both at the same time, yeah, I usually use the same polish for both. I get in colour "moods," and end up craving a certain shade.
But, I don't do my toes nearly as often as I do my fingernails, which is once a week once they start chipping. (My toes have been the same shade since late September...they don't chip, and I don't really have time to re-do them every time I do my nails)

I Would Say I Personal Dont Match My Nail And Toenails But If You Going Out Somewhere Nice I Would I Don't Always Paint My Nails For School Reason I am Not Aloud :( Which Is Unfair , I Think They Look Better Matching And Would Look Cuter To Match Your Outfit .

They don't have to match, but I like it when they do. But I do admit that my toe nails are always polished (and usually a dark color) while my finger nails go bare more often. While my toes are likely polished black, deep purple or burgundy, my finger nails are usually more unique colors because it's what I think people notice more than my feet!

Mine always do :) they don't have to but they do.

Mine never match. But I make sure to wear colors that compliment each other.

They're never the same cause my toes seem to last longer. So while I'll change my fingers I'll leave my toes for another week or so

I'm in the same camp as Alexis, I can't wear polish at work and even if I could as often as I need to wash my hands it'd quickly destroy the finish.

Usually my toes are dark, black or a burnt purple.. fingers are usually bare, or buffed to a shine. I do like the look of matching nails though, but I don't feel it's a must.

I don't like to have the same color on both, but they have to compliment each other or be in the same color category

I try to have my nails and toes match but when they aren't I try to use a color closest to.
