If you are a pro artist, you know the importance of using a primer before any makeup app. I used to use Smashbox's Photo Finish Foundation Primer, but it is super pricey. I heard that you could use Monistat Chafing Relief Powder Gel as a primer...at first, I thought, this is weird..I should never use anything on a client that has the word Monistat in it, but I saw that lots of artists have used it before, so I went ahead and bought some.
It was so amazing! Because it is a powder gel, it dries really fast, and stays matte. It is only about $9 for a decent size tube, and works and feels just like any other great primer. I did transfer it into a different container though...you don't want your clients thinking that you are putting anything weird on their faces, lol.
Anyway...just thought I would share this great tip!
