I would recommend going to a salon. With your hair being so dark you're probably going to need to bleach it twice. Do it once and then at least a week later do it again.
But to answer your questions yes you can mix temporary dyes.
And bleach has no time limit. If you buy those horrible boxes of bleach they say 60 minutes, don't listen to that! Like I said there is no time limit. For some hair types 60 min would completely fry their hair, and other might take even longer. You must watch it very closely! Especially because if your hair gets damaged by the bleach than it won't hold your temporary color. I know its not what you want to hear but I hope I helped :)

so i have never dyed, bleached, highlighted, or even tinted my hair. i have been considering dying my hair for a few years. well, i finally decided i want to (: i've dyed, highlighted, bleached & tinted several other peoples' hair, so i'm not a complete noob :)
i cut my own hair & right now its about to the very top of my jeans. i want to dye about a third of the way up my hair. i'd just like to know if any of you have any tips for me?
also, is it a bad idea to mix temporary dyes? like. i dont want to just mix them, it's fine to like "blend" them in my hair, right ? i was to dye it 3 colors, i'm trying to see if i can get away with only buying two boxes. also, how long should i leave the bleach in ? (my hair is basically black!)
there's a picture of how i want it :)

This is a job for the salon, not for at home. Especially with you having such a dark color to begin with.

That looks amazing but if you try to DIY from black to blonde you will kill your hair please go to a salon !

Do some research for salons in your area that do work with unusual colors. If you just go to Supercuts or whatever you might not find someone who can do what you want. You'll probably be able to find someone who can just ombré it most places but not do what you have in mind. It does look dope though, so good luck!

Don't do it yourself! I have black hair and doing any form off home bleaching doesn't end well. I would say to I to a salon and ask if the have pictures of colored tips they have done. Do you research before doing anything because you don't want to kill your hair off.

Go to a salon it will last longer and your hair won't be as damaged. I would consider doing the look in stages so you don't over chemical your hair all at once. At a salon they will have the best advice
