Exfoliate regularly and always moisturise.. To avoid breakouts use an anti-inflammatory spot cream such as freederm :) hope it helps xo

Well, that depends on your skin... I'm uber sensitive and uber dry, do what I do for my skin will be different than my sister who is sensitive/oily. My advice is go to amazon and get the book "the skin type solution" by dr Leslie bauman. Best book on skin care I've ever read. Totally changed my skin and only cost me $10 :-)

Establish a skin care regime. Cleanse, tone, moisturise. And don't eat a lot of unhealthy foods with saturated fat and all that nastiness. Exfoliating once a week would be good too but if you have sensitive skin don't use a scrub that is grainy.

Anything with sulfur as a spot treatment is amazing--like Dermalogicas Concealing Spot Treatment. Dermalogicas Precleanse is a must have for my acne prone skin also. Regular exfoliation is key.

Eileen L has some good tips! I'm the Managing Editor at JENESEQUA magazine, and one of our beauty experts Sophie just wrote about this. After trying just a few of the tips, I'm definitely seeing some improvement in my skin (more healing and less new spots!). She goes into more detail, but basically here are her top 4:
1. Cleanse less
2. Eat your way to good skin (this one's tough for me to put down the sugar!)
3. Get into clay (haven't tried this yet but it's on my list!)
4. Don't scare your skin
I sincerely hope this info helps! Her in-depth article can be found on our website (jenesequa dot com), if you're interested. http://jenesequa.com/2012/10/battle-of-the-breakout-a-few-tried-and-true-tips-for-clearer-skin.html

I know this is weird but I got bad break out on my cheeks so I googled that and results kept popping up basically saying that where you break out is connected to a different ailment. Mine was allergy problems. I started taking an anti-histamine and applied Vitamin E oil and its helped a lot.
