Thanks everyone! And thanks Natalie! I didn't know if I should try to shape them as "stilleto-y" as I can and let them grow from there, or wait for them to grow. I went ahead and rounded them all off. I've always had square nails but the sharp corners always snag things and that's what causes them to split. Hopefully they will grow out soon!

I prefer to keep my nails in an almond or stiletto shape. I also just have natural nails, I've always been to scared of ruining my nails to try any artificial methods. They aren't super long or anything, I feel like I'm always breaking nails. I usually just shape them as they grow... I mean I never have "short" nails really, so I can kind of file them into a stiletto shape even when they are short for me, and then I keep reshaping or filing them on a regular basis. It makes it a lot easier to keep up with. When they're "short" I keep them rounded. Once they get a little longer, I make them a more distinctive oval. Then when they're an appropriate length, I can make them more noticeably stiletto shaped... and it just gets easier and more of a proper stiletto shape the longer they get.

Kira on YouTube has natural stiletto nails. She also has a beautylish account. Here's one of her nail care videos, she has a lot of them. http://youtu.be/TOiH70x3SYQ
Also. A tip for nail strength is to apply garlic polish to your nails. You can buy it or DIY.

I just cut them because 2 of them broke, I'm so sad 😩. It depends, personaly, I let them grown for like 2-3 months without touching them and they were super long so I wait until I had the size that I want and I shape them after having the desired lenght. If you want your nails grow fast, take brewer's yeast (Sorry for my english, I'm french)

I love the stiletto nail trend but I can't have acrylics because of my job. I don't want them to be toooo long.
Does anyone have natural stiletto nails? How long did it take you to grow them out and do you have any tips or tricks? Did you shape them first or let them grow to their desired length before shaping them?
Also, are they more prone to breaking? Sorry for all the questions!
