Nay on black, yay on colors so dark they are practically black. Leave black lipstick to idiot goth kids who don't know better.
Lou gave you a great option with Cyber. It can be built to near black, so you will get a similar effect, but it's purple so it's better.

I think it's hard to pull off, but if you can, then go for it!(: But I wouldn't recommend wearing it everyday. Maybe try a bright pink, or a red, or a dark purpley-red color and see how you like it?(:

For editorials and photographs it's perfect, especially paired with flowers and a white setting. But for everyday use I go for a dark brown like MAC's Film Noir lipstick - still dramatic, but not as goth.

I personally think it's awesome, but I can't pull it off, especially because I'm a student in school still hahaha! I guess it's a good look for Halloween for me, since that's the only time I could pull it off.
