I want to get some clip in ones they blend in like ombre and I have dark brown hair and I'd have them in big curls but my friend said they would look weird could I rock them or not and if not what other colour?

I mean you could but the whole point of ombré is the transitioning between colors. If you did get lilac extensions to help a bit you could possible dye like the top portion of your extensions to a dark brown into the lilac. If that helps? :)

They are are already dyed like that so the dark brown blends with my natural hair and then the purple looks like a ombre/dip dye effect :)

Ohh okay! Haha sorry, was confused about that. If that's the case, I say go for it! I think pastel color are so pretty and I think your skin complexion will compliment the lilac nicely.

Honestly, I don't think lilac would be the best choice. Especially with the dark brown hair and the fall season. If it was spring, maybe you could get away with it. I just don't like the idea. I think you should do the ombré the traditional way to blonde. Buy some clip ins that are ombred to save you some blending time. These are from etsy.com

Dye a few ends of your hair too unless your extenstions are not noticable at all. Only thing if you dye abit of your hair too or when you wash your extenstions the lilac will wash out having a lilac colour is hard you need to keep it up dying it. But its worth it when it looks gorg!X

When I would do a dip dye effect with my extension, I would actually clip my extensions in the way I would regularly wear them. then put the dye in my hair with the extensions in it so I could pull some color up into my normal hair or place it low enough so its only at the bottom of my extensions (not where the natural hair &extensions meet)... or at least place the color so it looked like my natural hair =)
