CC creams are very similar to BB creams but are more geared toward color correction, so you might end up with a more opaque color that if you used BB cream. Cc stands for color corrector. It's just supposed to even out your skintone by concealing redness and hyperpigmentation marks. I don't own any cc creams though I've only tried 1 bb cream by dr jarts and that evens out my skintone as well.

Cc cream is amazing! I just bought one from Clinique and I love it works perfect for my skin. It moisturizes my dry skin and it makes my skin look flawless, but if you looking for a lot of coverage I wouldn't recommend it..p.s it is very good for sensitive skin

The girl that worked at Clinique told me bb creams are better for oily skin and cc is for dry/sensitive, hope this helps:)
