Fantastic recommendations, everyone! I used to use harsh scrubs way back when and I have the capillary scars to prove it. Right now, I'm loving both my Clarisonic (amazing. amazing. amazing) and Tatcha's Classic Rice Enzyme Powder two times a week. The latter is super duper finely-milled (thanks to the rice and pearl powder), so when you lather it up it feels like you're rubbing your skin with silk. My skin has never felt smoother, and my complexion is ultra-sensitive as well.

Also, I should add that Murad's AHA/BHA exfoliating cleanser is great, agree with Molly! I would use it only twice a week as well.

I use Renee Rouleau Mint Buffing Beads. They are round and gentle on the skin. I have combo/oily skin and my skin loves it. I'm coming up on a year on using her entire line and that has to be my fave item. She also has another one that is called Micro Crystal Cream that is actually finer than the Mint Buffing Beads. I haven't tried that one but it has a more creamy base and is said to help assist in clearing acne scars.

I know that sometimes when I travel to another state the water may be a bit different and sometimes, depending on how long I'm there for, my skin will instantly clear up if I'm experiencing acne or act like a nightmare. The Ph level of water can do some amazing things to your skin....good or bad. Something to think about as well in regards to your skin acting up right now.

Hello!
So I have been using St. Ives Apricot scrub for a while now, and yesterday someone on this site told me I should stop using it, I didn't want to automatically believe them so I did some research on it as well, apparently it is pretty bad for your skin, because of the exfoliant which is Apricot seeds grounded up, a lot of people who reviewed it or talk about it all say that there dermatologist say DO NOT use it because it is harsh for your delicate skin. So now I am going to stop using it, I just need to get a good exfoliator A.S.A.P, it stinks because the St. Ives Apricot Scrub seemed to be working with my regular routine which is the Clinique 3 step, now I don't want a cleanser with beads or whatever, I just want an exfoliator because I have a cleanser that I love.

Also, I just got back from South Carolina which I had been there for 4 months, and now I am back home in Texas and my skin is breaking out :( I don't know why but its getting really oily at night, I'm thinking it has to do with my sleep schedule which was different in SC, and maybe the weather? Not sure but i'm upset because my skin was doing so well for once!!!

Thanks in advance!

I love the Target Up and Up brand black head scrub, it's super gentle but still really works. It also has salicylic acid in it to prevent break outs. I use it and I very rarely get any pimples!!

I use this all over my body: the European Wax Center Exfoliate! It's really good, super smooth and leaves your skin like super soft. Never had a problem with it. I frequently wax so I use this to get rid of dead skin cells. Try looking up a location near you and let em know you would like for them to let you test it. I am sure they would http://www.waxcenter.com/Post-Waxing-Exfoliate

Thanks so much ladies, I am gonna try the Target one since right now that's in my price range and easily accessible but once I get some more side cash I will be sure to look into trying the others.

It's hard for me because I find that some scrubs don't clear out my pores, like I see that they are clogged so I exfoliate nearly every day, but some just dont do the trick.

I think skincueticals is good. It's a fine grain. It's about $40. Good product line. Be careful of grocery story product. Alot of them have alot of alcohol in it. Drys the skin out. It's worth it to pay a little more.

Aloette's Restorative Enzyme Peel is awesome, all natural aloe and fruit enzymes... in 60 seconds it removes the dead skin cells leaving your skin feeling baby soft and able to breathe. It does the same thing as a $250 chemical peel with No redness, no irritation. Use it, finish your skin care routine and do your makeup. It's that simple. I can send you a sample if you'd like.

BECCA C. Where can I find Lush's Dark Angels??

LYNN C. Where I can I find the peel? Around how much does it cost?

Thanks Skye! Gonna use that as a temporary exfoliator.

The reason the apricot scrub is bad is because it's actually scratching your skin, and making little cuts in it. There are tons of exfoliators, just make sure they have jojoba beads. They will not scratch your skin as they are perfectly round. Since you have a cleanser you love you should get a Clarisonic. They are different from ones at the store because those ones just spin in a circle while the Clarisonic almost vibrates. And you could be stripping your skin with too-harsh products which cause over production of oil.

You can find LUSH products at LUSH stores or on the website.

Clarisonic is a great way to exfoliate your skin. If you have combination skin (dry in some areas, most likely oily in tone: forehead, nose, chin area) try Murad T-zone pore refining gel $40. It clears pores and balances you dry& oily spots. If your skin is normally VERY oily try Murad Acne treatment exfoliating gel $54 clears clogged pores of bacteria. They are great products and last a long time 4-5 months depending on use. Goodluck!

spf 30+ is a must when using these products. If not minimum spf 15 on a daily basis, not including spf in makeup.

You can try natural products like strawberries, lemons, oatmeal, or Murad has an amazing AHA/BHA Cleanser which is an exfoliant that you should use at least twice a week. It's very gentle and amazing(:

that depends on what you want and what you can aford. There are lots of pricey ones out there and some desent ones at a fair price. Every one will tell you to try some thing difrent. But remeber we all have difrent skin types and what works best for one may not work so well for another. I sudgest you do some reaserch, get like 3 that you think you may like and try those. And then pick from wich one you like best

But if you want names, heres as few with some good reviews. Clinique, Neutrogina, Mark, Freeman. Now remeber what you want. Some are stronger then others and some are ment to have more of a scent. So keep in mind if you want some thing that smells good, or works faster, stronger, lighter.

I use my Basis facial wash that removes dirt and makeup with an exfoliating pad. First, I wet my face and then I pour some of my facial wash on the damp exfoliating pad and start washing my face with the foamy pad. There isn't any soap in this facial wash and it smells amazing, like a cool aloe and cucumber scent almost. Also, this would only cost around six bucks and some change. The exfoliating pads can be found in packs of two at walmart for about $2 and the facial wash is a little under $4.
