I have one of the five drawer things you can get from Walmart. The first drawer has everyday things, second has eyeshadow/eyeliner, third has blush/highlighter, fourth has lipgloss, and last has lipstick/lipbalm.
I also have a little desk caddy thing that I use to store palettes.

I don't have a crazy amount of makeup, but I love how I store mine. I have 3 storage bins from Target side by side. They're small and they each have three drawers. The first is for face, the next eyes, and the third lips. My foundations are stored upright on top of them and my brushes are in a holder on a shelf. Simple, perfect, yes.

I updated my set up after seeing some things on here. I have a plastic box with all my loose pigments, inside a wicker basket. That holds all my every-day make up as well as perfume, and skin care stuff. Then I have a ceramic planter that is kind of tall, so i have my irons, brushes and combs in there along with loose hair accessories. I found some cute short vases at Wal-Mart for about $2 and all my brushes are in there. I use a candle holder from BBW to hold miscellaneous stuff and a cylinder cardboard thing I got from the dollar store for my mascara and eyeliner. Pretty much all stick type stuff.

I have a Micke desk from ikea. The shallow 2 drawer one. Then I got a bunch of mesh trays from Target in the office supply section to organize my makeup in the drawers.

I store my everyday makeup in a train case from strictly, and the I store the rest in large Chanel cardboard boxes (they are prettier than plastic), I keep my brushes in an acrylic pot that I also put a Chanel ribbon around to make it pretty!

I have that colorful rolling cart from office depot and it's been good to use until recently.(Makeup overload!)I use the first drawer for new things, things that I need to use instead of just putting away.High-end eyeshadows I usually keep together and seperate from drugstore,so I know where to look for a certain brand. All my blushes, highlighters and bronzers are in one drawer.Lipsticks and lipglosses are also seperated, but all brands are mixed.I find having everything organized like that works pretty good,I know where the things I want to use that day are and don't have to spend much time searching.I use this pencil holder/storage container from walmart for all my brushes and liners as well :)

I have the MICKE desk from IKEA and the ISIS rolling cart from office max. I have a generic brand and the Sephora brand train cases for when I feel like packing my stuff up to do other ppl's makeup and the small LE MUFE Rock Forever train case that came with a kit... Amazingly, that still isn't enough, and I need to invest in some good drawer dividers for my vanity. =\

I keep everything in an old dresser that my mum built for me either when I was a baby or before I was born. From there I organize most products into deep drawer containers that I bought from The Container Store. On top of the dresser I have my brushes in pen cups I got at my local K-Mart.
I need to figure out something for my larger palettes (i.e., my UD Naked and Naked2 palettes + a MAC 15x eyeshadow palette and a freestyle palette I bought on Etsy that has a couple of my MAC blushes). I'm thinking of either acrylic drawers or something like Sterlite, but I'm not 100% sure yet. Oh, organization.

I have two boxes that I painted: a bigger for palettes and a smaller for face stuff. Then there are two little 3 drawer things from Target [they're turquoise] that I keep lipsticks and smaller eye products in. Then there's one of those larger pen things from Office Max that I keep eyeliners and lipglosses in.

I would love to have a desk for my makeup. But right now i have all my face products in one long rectangular container & all my eye products in another. Then for my lip products i found a great alternative for a lipstick holder, using the container that acrylic nail tips come in. I wish that everything was a little more organized & that i had easier access to my face & eye products.
