So, I've been on the hunt for a really good quality, not cakey, not oily foundation for months now. I finally bit the bullet and went to the MAC counter to ask for help. The girl I talked to suggested Match Master in 1.5. Have any of you used/tried it? What do you think? Worth it?

So far I've only heard really good things about the MatchMaster. But here's an in depth review on Temptalia.

Went back to MAC yesterday and they gave me a sample sized that'll last for two days. They were super nice about it! I'm wearing it today and so far so good! It feels great.

I've been using Matchmaster 1.0 for about a month now and I really like it.

If you're looking for an oil-free foundation, I would not go with a MAC foundation. I use dozens of their products but the foundation formulas aren't great for your skin so I tend to skip on those (and they make many people break out).. but if you really want a MAC foundation getting a sample was a great idea! One that I can say to definitely stay away from is the Studio Tech- super oily looking, thick and cakey. Good luck and hope you find one you like! :)

I've never had an issue with breaking out because of MAC Foundations, except Studio Tech when my skin was oilier because it's a cream foundation (but now I LOVE Studio Tech).
I really like the Matchmaster foundation. It's an odd foundation to match so it's good that you got a sample first. I had to try 3 different samples (3, 4 and 5) to find my colour because it changes when you apply it.

Matchmaster is one of my favorite foundations. it feels light, yet it covers really well. i like the smooth matte finish of it as well. another awesome thing about it is, they are very versatile on skin types. i use the matchmaster on my clients, especially when they are going to have a lot of photos taken of them. :)
