Mine had to be back when I only used one color shadow...on just my lid and TONS of black eye liner which I put very thickly on my upper lid. Oh yeah! The liquid liner in the water line LOL
A long time ago I was into Japanese Heavy Metal, and I tried to do my makeup like I had seen on some of the bands. Their looks were very extreme cat eyes with bizarre colors...but for the life of me, I could never seem to get it to look the same as I did in the photo or when I put it on my Hmong friend. Turns out, different eye shapes need different techniques. I would like to try it now that I am better at makeup. I was 15 around that time LOL

Must be when I used to go for a really unblended eyeshadow using a sponge tip applicator. And thick, black eyeliner only under the eye. And super clumpy mascara.
So beautiful .___.

ha where to start? In the 7th grade I had very little makeup of my own so I would always use my mom's makeup that was always 7 shades darker than me ( she has an olive complexion whereas I am fair skinned with freckles) and just looked plain horrible! I remember lining my lips with a darker plum lip liner then filling it in with barbie pink then walking to school thinking I was the hottest thing ever! And when I finally got to school, my friends telling me the awful truth lol

I feel like i've had many make up flops over the past years. The first that comes to mind was one of the first times i used liquid liner. My hand twitched when i was putting it on and i stabbed myself in the eye. I freaked out. I cant remember the pain only that i thought i was going to go blind cause half of my eye was covered in black eye liner.

Mine is more of a hair disaster. My husband and i were going to do a performance and i asked him to tough up my shaved haircut. There was a missed spot, so i asked him to go back into it. Neither of us realized that the extender on the clippers was missing though, and a bald patch was made! It was impossible to work around, so I told him to just shave it all off. I was bleaching my eyebrows at the time, so I looked super hairless! To make it better, he gave me airbrush painting all over my head. I looked like a human canonball! Ha ha ha!

my worst make up disaster was probably when i first started getting into the whole makeup thing. I got this cover girl eye shadow pallet and when i went to go wash it off i would not some off so for the rest of the day i had the ugliest purple eye lid ever

We only recently moved to the midwest, and coming from a desert climate I was ill-prepared for the effects of that first summer. There are a few specific incidents that spring to mind as a total "face fail" but really it was a summer of fail. I had no idea how to keep makeup on my face in the heat and humidity, so I'd get my look set and then walk out the door, only to notice or have my husband point out maybe 10 minutes later that it looked like my face was melting. He even took pictures once, while I shouted at him to hand me a tissue or I would shove his phone somewhere painful. Good times, lol. Hopefully I'll weather this summer a little more gracefully!

Concealer that was most likely the wrong shade and no setting powder.
Chances are all those powder compacts were too dark for me.
Those ELF cream shadows and no primer.
Of course, this was all before I seriously got into makeup in 2009 so. This would be more like from sophomore year and up to before graduation.

I love reading all of your responses! So hilarious!!!!
Eyebrows! Oh man where to even begin? In middle school I had them pencil thin! I can't believe I thought that looked cute. I then began to start filling in the ends and had this triangle action going on that looked like this ^. I cringe every time I am flipping through old photos with those rough eyebrows.

I thought I was being cute by doing a blue smokey eye look one day for work and I guess I went a little too far up with the blue so when I went into work my boss told me that the blue didnt suit me at all, I looked in the mirror and I felt like Mimi from The Drew Carey Show :( I've probably had other bad makeup disasters but this one sticks out for me.

I'd have to say my worst disaster was using false lashes with glue not knowing I was allergic to the latex in it. Lashes wouldn't be on for more than 5 minutes before my whole eye became red, puffy & damn near swollen shut.

My worst makeup disaster was actually stabbing myself with the felt tip of my first liquid eyeliner when I was in 11th grade.

Oh yes, probably 9-10th grade. I used to use the Wet N' Wild bronzer over the old-school CoverGirl foundation that was about 5 shades off and looked like cake. The bronzer would be blotchy and orange by like, 2nd period. Sometimes I'm surprised that I even had friends, until I remember that all my friends looked like that, too. Yuck!

@Alyssa - At least we can look back and learn from it! Love your profile picture by the way!
@Andii - POOR THING! I've heard of people setting their faces with hairspray though, never setting their eyes, JUST KIDDING! :)
@Aferdita - I was aswell, at least we thought we looked pretty badass. In my MCR days I used red lip liner as eyeliner, not my best look I admit!
@Shelley - Oh my, that's awful! I can't even fathom the pain!
