Neutral, nothing too heavy. Um, purple, brown and bronze generally work with brown eyes but it's honestly up to your taste & style. Go experiment and see what looks good for you. :)

Green is the complimentary colour to brown, so it will make your brown eyes appear brighter. But like Annie and Nichole said, we brown eyed folks don't have to worry about colours dulling our eye colour.

I agree with everyone else here about brown eyes having the versatility to wear any color. I feel that greens (like forest green or something along that line lol), blues, purples, browns, black, silver and any other color suits the brown eye very well. :D

It really depends on what you want your eyes to look like. If you want them to look deep and dark, use a light look with cooler tones to it. If you want them to look warm and very brown, then go for blue, which is super pretty on brown eyes if you enjoy pulling the orange tones. If you want a harsh look, then you can go for dark colors. Dark colors in a smokey eye look piercing on lighter colored eyes, but look very dark without a light iris too offset it. If you want to bring out the green tones, wear purple or green; most peoples favorite colors to wear with brown eyes. Brown eyes can wear pretty much any color, but try to stay away from orange, red, and sometimes pink. Hope this helps!

I personally believe you can wear any color. Take it from a person who has brown eyes. The key to more bold and vibrant colors is that you need to know how to blend and not to over do it but I think that goes all the way around as far as eye color.
