When sun and heat are issues, but something you are exposing your hair to regularly, using a spray or product to protect against it is a great option. I used to use L'oreal Solar Sublime, I used to mist that over my hair (when I was finished styling it) before I would go out during the day time. It would protect against sun damage, and made my hair feel great. You can also use a product to protect your hair from heat damage if you blow dry or using a curling/straightening iron on your hair frequently. All my friends and I swear by Redken's Smooth Heat Lock Glide. Of course, you can research other brands, I'm sure there are cheaper options that will work just as well. These are just a few things you can do to prevent a little bit of damage.
As others have mentioned, Moroccan or Argan Oils are great. I also use a bunch of deep conditioning packets you can find at Sally's, Target, or any drug store. One of my favorites throughout the years has been the Hask Placenta (Henna n' Placenta) packets. It sounds weird but I think it works great. I also use Biotera Ultra Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner to try to restore my hair. It makes my hair feel a million times more healthy and looks quite soft and less dry.

My favorites would be from Alterna... The uv masque... For a few bucks less you can purchase "it's a ten hair masque". If volume isn't a problem I'd go ahead and go with the 10... But Alterna is a free from and organic product line.

Argan oil :) I also have dry hair and on days when it feels really awful I always put in a little argan oil into my roots and ends. It makes my hair super soft. I use the cheap knockoff brand, but you can use whatever brand you like. Also Organix coconut conditioner or Organix Morroccan argan oil conditioner.

I used a Pro Naturals hair mask and that helped with damage and dryness! Also, avoid coloring and heat styling your hair at least until it's completely recovered.

I used to have the same problem but my hair is restored because I stop straightening and dying my hair, and I started to use pro naturals moroccan argan oil hair treatment kit which has some products that can help you to repair your hair and will leave it soft, shiny and healthy again. :) I bought it at safrons.com :D

Egg hair mask, dandruff conditioner bc it has more moisturizing ingredients (even if you don't had dandruff), and warm oil treatments (olive oil, coconut oil, or almond oil) hope that helps :)

I got really dry hair from the sun and with all the heat i put my hair trough it's kind of damaged to. I stoped flatironing it and i am using hair repare mask by watercloud but it's not helping. I need some tips on hairmasks, conditioner and maybe some homemade things that works for My hair.
