Maybe I'm crazy, but I don't really like the CHI irons at all. I had one for a long time and it just didn't do it for me. I have a Paul Mitchell smoothing iron and it straightens, curls, everything I need it to do. I love it!!!

Definitely my chi turbo hair straightener. I've had it for about three years, but it works as though I just bought it yesterday. It also leaves my hair feeling silky after I've straightened it.

Jose eber is the one i have i love it its the best one i had so far and i tried the chi but it just damaged my hair so i used jose eber and it left my hair silky and smooth i definitely recomend it :)

I have a GVP ceramic iron. It's supposed to be comparable to the Chi straightener, and I've never had a problem with it. Gets me the results I want. $60 at Sally's Beauty stores. (Mine even came with a cute travel size one.)
