Honestly, that is just your opinion. There are plenty of girls who love wearing neon and look gorgeous in it! It makes them stand out. That was really rude to tell everyone to stop wearing it.

I don't understand why girls have this cute grunge looking.outfit and then they had something.stupid and neon. or neon at all. its not cute. neon is only acceptable for work out clothes and even that I hate it. I don't even.know how neon went into style,the rave scene maybe? I have.no.clue. but its very unflattering and if its "in style" in.fashion which I hope it still isn't. just stop wearing it. people on here ask advice on outfits and someone is usually saying "add neon this or that". NO. it ruins a outfit.

I've worn neon before,it looks fine on me. but that was like 3-4 years ago when I would go to music festivals and raves,now its played. its like floral. over used becaus its something to fall back on because its "cute","bold",makes you "stand out", yeah its bold and makes you stand out been it makes you look unattractive. neon does not.compliment any skin tone. if I would compliment any skin tone it would be fair toned skin,because it wouldn't pop out so much on that tone. but that doesn't even matter. neon is old and played and not cute.

I absolutely despise neon, but that could be because I stay true to my Gothic roots with occasional dabbles into pastels. I feel as if neon colors were meant for nails, sportswear, accessories and splatter paint spring break t-shirts. Girls can wear it and love it, but honestly, it often strikes me as juvenile when the actual outfit is comprised of neons.

I'm more of an alternative type of girl, so I don't wear neon all that much, but I think it looks okay if one has the ability to pull it off. Mmm, I suppose in a way, all of the loud colors can get a bit tiring after a while though.
