Honestly it's possible,, @and can depend on what yu smoke out of- using a tobacco product to smoke is alil worse then using pieces although same affect so maybe take that into consideration...

@Brandi B: People might not die from weed alone, but being high leads to poor decision making and lack of coordination. It's also a gateway drug, I've known people who have gone on to crack and ecstasy and died. It's just..bad.

See in movies*. Not are. Autocorrect has a tendency to hate me. A lot.

It's actually pretty sad that being a stoner is now a stereotype. Not all stoners are ones like you are in movies. I know a few people who smoke marijuana who are now in medical school, are majoring in chemistry or physics at Uni or are working full time in incredibly respectable jobs.

I'm pretty sure it depends on your skin, not how well you take care of it. This thread is ridiculous. Stop getting in your feelings, stop being rude to one another, and stop making snarky comments. I think we're all older than that, yep?

Anyway, Emma, I think it does affect everyone differently. I'm not 100% sure as it hasn't been scientifically proven, but there are people who it made break out and there are people who it hasn't. I hope you got your answer :)

Amen @Paige :). This thread was directed at pot smokers who have first hand experience concerning the question being asked. It was not an invitation for judgemental non-smokers to insert their two cents where it is not wanted. Thank you, goodbye!

Nothing agaisnt smoking its a choice but it is a toxin and can cause blackhead and age the skin not everybody who smokes will have bad skin but these can be effects.

I am not seeing this lol

Exactly its pretty ridiculous.
Pretty much everyone who has a job or you see at the shops goes out drinking and yet thats perfectly fine, even though those people are more likely to cause deaths than someone smoking a joint.

I absolutely love that article: "I'm a mom, I'm a stoner. I'm never going to find waldo" haha.

I made all these (see picture) when I was high, how is that being a deadbeat slacker? Ugh people annoy me.

Haha anyway your skin will more than likely be fine as long as you drink lots of water.

Amen, Paige! I read that article you linked to, and it was AMAZING. My friend's mom smokes because she's had brain surgery, she was shot in the arm, and some other reasons I can't remember. She's not a bad person at all. In fact, she's one of the most insightful, inspirational woman I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. I hate how everyone assumes that if you smoke marijuana that you must be a slacker and overall failure at life who's only contribution to society is laying around on the couch smoking 24/7.

This is my all time favourite article about smoking weed because its so true.
http://jezebel.com/5905455/I'm-a-mom-and-I'm-stoned-right-now

My skin felt and looked nicer when I smoke weed. Its not the weeds fault if you can't take care of your skin. Stay hydrated and you'll be fine.

Oh and before you want to bitch about how all "stoners" are deadbeats that work at maccas, I'm 20 years old, live out of home with my boyfriend, we live in a nice clean house, neither of us work in the hospitality industry, we pay all our bills on time, look after ourselves and our 2 cats (who are so entertaining and fun to play with when high) and we're saving atleast $100 a week for when we have a baby. :)

Stop putting your two cents in unless you have actually experience first hand what weed is like, not base it off movies or idiots who were going to be deadbeats with or without drugs.

Weed makes me so much happier and energised. It makes me want to get out of the house and go enjoy life, it makes me want to spontaniously make diy projects and they don't turn out horrible btw.
It makes you enjoy the simple things in life, like bouncing a pingpong ball and watching your cats go mental over it, or playing nerf gun wars with your brother inlaw.
Its not as bad as you ladies claim it is, oh and btw we're not judging you for getting shitfaced on cheap alcohol and acting like drunken idiots.

Oh and sorry for the typo in the first one, tobacco it is, not Tabasco

Btw, I smoke a lot, 3 packs of cigarettes a day, my skin and health is perfectly fine, and I'm doing med school for gods sake.

No Mac Donald's for me, I'm going to be an oncologist in 8 years

Pot doesn't affect your skin, if you're smoking a pure blunt, but it's always mixed with Tabasco which may react with your skin.

But be carefully, most people say marijuana isn't addictive, well it is.
I'm dutch, and pot is normal here, every town has a dealer, and it's perfectly legal, but the THC which is in pot is highly addictive. (we learn that at school, and I do medical school)

So pot can be good for you, as painkiller, relaxer, or just for fun, doesn't hurt your skin.

But be careful please, I've seen a lot of people who lost everything because of this simple soft drug.

Xx

Thank you Rhiannon. Talk some sense into these people.

@macy... So much for non-smokers being the smart ones. And as for working at McDonald's, I think you should know that there are people who do AND don't smoke weed who end up working there until they're 40. I smoke nearly everyday, I have perfect skin AND health, and I'm currently pursuing Master's degree. Next time you want to be wrongfully judgemental, make sure you're stating facts and not your irrelevant, unwanted opinion.

Weed only messes with your mind temporarily, it is not extremely addictive like cigarettes. It doesn't have a direct impact on breakouts or aging or anything like that. Also it will not ruin your future and life unless you let it get out of control.

I agree with Kealey! When you get older it will make you ugly.

Hmmmm...if you smoke all you will do is become dumb and work at mcdonalds?? tell that to all the doctors, lawyers, major ceo's, and everyone else who doesn't let smoking interfere with their success. I am one of those people. No, it doesn't ruin your skin. No, it doesn't make you stupid. No, it doesn't ruin your life UNLESS YOU decide to let it. /endthread
