Neither. I think when girls wear them alone with a shirt that isn't long enough to cover their butts and they 300 lbs it is just not attractive. Sorry. But leggings aren't pants, and yoga pants are made for yoga. lol. I guess I am just too high maintenance.

Don't like leggings with shirts, they look nice with casual long tops or short dresses.

It depends on what you are wearing it with and to. to work out in I wear yoga pants. I save my leggings for when I'm going to wear long tops with them to go shopping, run errands, etc. leggings are NOT pants. it doesn't matter if youre a 0 or a 14. the top you wear with leggings has to at least cover your crotch area.

I agree completely with Laura G. Leggings arent pants they r made to go underneath things like dresses skirts and long tops.

I agree with Laura and Madeline, neither are appropriate as pants by themselves. Leggings under dresses and skirts, yoga pants for the gym/around the house and nowhere else.
