My makeup box and other cosmetics was placed beside the window since long. Recently when a friend of mine visited our house, she saw this and told me that it may damage the items. She says that if the windows are not good enough the cosmetics may change their chemical formula and become harmful for use.
If she correct? I haven't heard anywhere about such a phenomenon but I don't want to take risk either. I have changed the position of the cosmetic items. Later when I consulted with my father he said that the windows were double pane energy efficient windows. Are they good enough to prevent damage to cosmetics?
