Should I get a vertical labret (lip piercing)

This is kind of a personal opinion question, I really want a vertical labret piercing (I love how it looks), but don't know if it would suit me (all of my friends say no but Idk they ar anti-all piercings). I already had/have several ear piercings and pain is not a problem for me. I'm 17 turning 18 soon and for anybody being worried about my job or smth, I'm going to art university soon so it wouldn't be a 'I have to look like a professional' problem (which I think is not really an argument anyway). Anyway thanks for all answers beforehand!
