Hi Beauties! Yes my 9 year old has started getting a couple zits. At first I didn't think much of it,but then she got a couple more. I'm thinking of getting her the Simple cleansing wipes to start her on a simple (no pun intended) regimen. Or should I wait to see if it clears on her own? Right now she uses Johnson & Johnson kids all over wash for her face. Would it be time to have her start taking special care of her face?
I would love to hear your opinions! Thank you so much in advance for your recommendations!

First, you need to be sure they are actually pimples and not Dermatitis or another skin issue, including an allergy. I tried to find the product you mentioned from Johnson & Johnson and cannot, including on their website. Did you mean the Kids 2-in-1 naturals?

If that is the product, it does contain fragrance. Even natural fragrance can be an irritant.
Knowing what the skin looks like (black heads, white bumps, flesh colored bumps, discoloration, if there is dryness, deep bumps under the skin, any redness or pain etc.) and the location or pattern of of them would be quite helpful.

Hi Rozberry! they are red bumps. just under the lower lip, in between her eye brows and corner of her mouth. No pain, they look like... I'll post the picture of the one under the lip, sorry she wasn't happy about about having the picture taken. She uses Johnson's head to toe baby wash. hopefully you can see it.

Gosh Rozberry thank you so much for the helpful information.
I've decided to start with cleansing wipes to get her use to the routine. I'll keep an eye on how her skin reacts. I'm so happy you mentioned Paula's Choice, I wish I had thought of that. I think once she has the routine down I can move her to a more detailed regimen. (she has 2 homes to have to get used to doing this) I will definitely be looking at Paula's Choice. Yes a lot is going on for her with changes and I'm trying to not overwhelm her.
She is an amazing kid! Thank you!

Take her to a dermatologist to get her skin looked at then they can give you good products that will help for long time use. Assessments from doctors make a difference.

@Kirsten, yes I would normally agree a doctor is best. But she is only 9 and a half years old. And this just started. Also she is just starting her changes. I think if she was a few years into changes I would definitely take her in. Now I'm only looking to start her on the routine to get her used to it and with something light.
I do sincerely appreciate your comment!!
