Hi!

Recently I've noticed small bumps in my forehead, when my skin was already cleared.

I've haven't changed anything in my skincare routine and in my makeup. The only thing that I've added is the Wet n Wild Photofocus Setting Spray. It does a lovely job setting and prolonging my makeup, but I'm afraid it's the cause of these bumps.

Have you experienced something similar?

Most setting sprays contain film forming agents and high levels of solvent alcohol, which together irritate the skin and then trap excess sebum caused by said irritation.

Do you know of any setting spray with "better" ingredients?

It could be the spray that is irritating your skin. I am very sensitive and would only use setting spray for a special occasion.

Essentially for it to actually be a setting spray it must contain ingredients that seal your makeup, so while you may be able to find something sans the alcohol (I think Cover FX makes some), you're not going to be putting something that's really fantastic on your face.

Thanks, girls! I think I'll limit the use of the spray :(

Many people including myself use this before or after makeup.

@Alexandra, what's your skin type? Do you think it would be suitable for combo/oily skin?
