I recently shaved my head to donate my hair and I had a buzz cut before. Now it's more like a pixie and I want to know should I style with a little hairspray or... at the moment today I sprayed my hair with hairspray and combed it to the right side. I will post pics.

First, much respect to you for your charitable spirit!

Secondly, for your hair, I would instead be using a pomade instead of mostly hairspray; , water soluble would work nicely. This allows for amazing hold and styling ability, but also leave hair pliable..softer..it would add shine if you went with a light hold, for example. Stronger holds would mean you don't have to style every day or wash hair daily to style it, etc.

I think Suavacita or any of the Suavacito pomades would work beautifully with your hair, but depending on where you are located, I'm not sure if that's available. If not, any water-soluble pomade would be nice. You can also use hair wax...hair clay. There's a lot of ways to bring great hold and style to short styles like this. Styling "taffy"..they vary in names. I'd then hit it with a great hairspray if you didn't want to wash daily, like Kenra or Redken28.

I do not know your personal taste, but I dig when ladies go with a pomp vibe for pixies. Your top isn't long enough to do a true pomp, but you could definitely get a sleek look with your length.

Here's a good tutorial for getting that style.
