yes it's called cystic acne. bad news is it could never pop. or if u leave it alone and treat it with glycol , benzoyl peroxide and suffer masks it may reduce n become less noticable

a dermatologist can use a syringe to deposit something that can reduce the hard pocket of pimple but this also does scar or can leave a depression in ur face. I had decent luck with mine when I was a kid (through acutane) but mostly the makeup I use hides these imperfections .

Yeah. I have hyperpigmentation all over my cheeks, so I use full coverage foundation anyway. But this thing is huge lol. I googled it and think its a papule. I will try to put some BP on it tonight sigh

go to your closest dermatologist and ask for some acne injections. the pimples will be gone over night.. you can use benzoyl but it doesnt work that fast for me (they dryed up my skinn to) so i think the injection is the best option. goodluck :)

its called a papule which is a cystic spot deep under the skin. use a spot clearing gel like cliniques or put some germolene/savlon on at night to keep it clean and reduce inflammation :)

A papule is not a cystic pimple. They are different things. It COULD develop a head, but it might not. I had one above my lip, it developed about a week ago and it was just red, hard and painful. I thought great, this thing is gonna take months to go away. I left it alone and yesterday it developed a head. So I squeezed it. I'm sure lots of people will tell me that I shouldn't have but for me I know if I left it it would have been worse in the end. I made sure to get all of the bad stuff out and the inflammation almost immediately went down and today it's much better. I'm not going to tell you that this is what you should do because you might make it worse but usually with cystic acne getting that bad stuff out is the only way to get it to go down. That being said; you should NEVER squeeze it if it doesn't have a head. If you are concerned or it doesn't seem to improve then go to a dermatologist.

I get pimples like this on my forehead or cheek every blue moon. I usually just use spot treatments and it seems to work for me. I don't have bad skin so getting pimples is a rare thing for me.
