Okay so I bought the Anastasia Beverly hills powder contour palette and everytime I use it I get these little red bumps where I put the contour shades and my face itches so bad!! I've pin pointed it and it's most definitely the palette that is causing it 😖 I can't use it and it breaks my heart bc it was the perfect shade for me and plus now I've waisted money. I use the Anastasia Beverly hills highlight palette and I've never had a problem, I don't get it!?!? I've had a hard time finding a contour color that doesn't make me look orange. I have a light complexion. Does anyone know why it itches me? Or know any contour palettes or products I could use.

The lorac unzipped pallete is eyeshadow but one shade in there has lasted me so long and is the perfect contour shade also tarte has a mini contour highlight kit that has the perfect shade. I'm extremely light skinned so I know the struggle hahaha.

I'm not a fan of contour palettes for consumer use. Often there are shades that are not useable for one skin tone. I only carry RCMA adjusters in my kit to sculpt global skin tones. But the consumer contour palettes are overkill for most people. I recommend one contour shade- KVS sells singles. ABH does as well but it sounds like you are reacting badly to the formula. Kevyn Aucoin has my favorite contour powder- the Sculpting Powder. For a budget friendly option, NYX Taupe blush is is nice cool shade to contour with and is perfect for fair complexions.

I've always used the Australia contour palettes! It's so cheap, and I love the colours... they have ones for light medium and dark skin tones. So maybe try out a cheaper ones before trying another expensive one just to see if it works for you? I defs recommend it... I've heard some people in the past say that it's muddy due to being hard to blend... but I've never had that problem

The Kat Von D Shade to light contour palette is beautiful. I have sensitive skin and it doesn't bother me.

Thanks everyone for replying!! I'm either going to give the kvd contour palette a try or try the too faced cocoa contour palette, has anyone heard anything about that palette??
