I'm 19, and just finished my freshman year of college. During that entire time, I didn't buy any makeup. I've always used the same things that I've had for years, and I already know that's kinda gross.
I'm start on a clean slate with my makeup, mostly affordable but a couple high end things as well.

Honestly check out the Charlotte Tilbury instant look in a pallet palettes, for a few $ more than a eyeshadow palette you get two blushes, a highlight, bronze/ contour &three eyeshadow shades

I would definitely suggest trying NYX setting and priming makeup, LA Color products are good for contouring, and I always go high end for foundation.. MAC and NARS have great foundation lines!

Make sure you get a good basic set of tools. There are many price points. You can buy a set or buy individuals, but any product you buy will work better with good tools.
