I used UDPP for YEARS and it stopped working, within a couple hours my eye shadow would look gross. I switched to Smashbox 24 hour eyeshadow primer and it lasts a bit longer but not all day like UDPP use to for me. I've also tried Benefit Stay Don't Stray Primer which seems to work slightly better then the other two. Does anyone have any suggestions? Brands? I have oily skin BTW. 😭😭😭 Halp!

I've never had any shadow primer work on my lids when they're overly oily. I personally like to use a waterproof concealer as my shadow primer. I like the bh cosmetics waterproof concealer in fair. I'm sure you'll get lots of suggestions from these great ladies on here.

I get oily lids and Too Faced Eyeshadow Insurance is the only product that has worked for me, maybe you can ask for a sample and give it a try

The NARS Pro Prime eye primer is absolutely amazing, my previous primer stopped working for me as well so I started using the Pro Prime and my eyeshadow won't smudge, budge, fade, or crease all day long. I've worn eyeshadow for 12+ hours with that primer and it looked the same at the end of the day as it did when I first applied it (:

NARS primer- hands down the best. Worth every penny. I will never use any other primer. It doesn't feel greasy or tacky when you apply it like other primers. For oily lids, I will also dust a little RCMA no color on top of primer to set. Eyeshadow glides on over and stays all day.

I love too faced eyeshadow insurance. It works, it's cruelty free, and vegan!

Also, I'm out of my eyelid primer so I've been using a concealer. So for that, I put a little bit all over my lid, then pat on a neutral colour and blend it in. Then add my eyeshadow from there, and honestly it's been working like a charm!

Also, Urban decay setting sprays, (I use All Nighter) works like a charm ☺️
