Grape juice?! for hair? trick.

Does anybody know if Grape juice (not kool aid) mixed with conditoner will give Purple tints to dark hair?

I've never heard of that before, maybe some of the other lovely ladies here have. Grape juice is pretty acidic so I would think that it might dry your hair out a little is my only thing.
