So I attempted my Halloween makeup with latex and I removed it all with makeup wipes and now my face is a bit red where I had the latex.

It didn't really hurt taking it off so I'm unsure as to why it's red - is this going to last a while? How long until it goes away?

Also, next time, what's the best way to remove latex?

Nope this was my first time! And I forgot to add it was Liquid latex in case that makes a difference!

It might be red because you might have a sensitivity to latex on your face. many people have a sensitivity to latex

I've never had a problem pulling latex directly off, but I'm not sure if that's actually the recommended way to do it. Like Rhiannon said, you could just have a sensitivity to it. I would personally just leave the red spot alone for as long as you can. Rinse with cold water and then let it be :)
