Just curious if anyone has tried doing their own acrylic nails or does their own. I want to start doing my own.

You can buy kits to do them. I will warn you doing them yourself can be very tricky to get them looking nice. Make sure your do file down your natural nail to make sure the nails adhere properly. Also don't use too much acrylic...you will regret it when your trying to shape them later on.

I have tried it and it is really hard to do, I could never get them to be smooth on the top.

You could purchase an electric file like the ones in salons or use a good quality regular nail file. Use more of a rounding motion over the top so you don't get ridges. Check YouTube they have some tutorials on there.

I know. I have watched tutorials and everyone makes it seem so easy. Maybe I will buy a little starter kit and see what I think before putting money into it. Thank you guys.
