Diversity. The ability to cater to all people regardless of skin tone is something that if I ever made a cosmetics company I would be sure to do even if it wasn't as "cost effective"
It's clear that there are companies making half assed attempts to cater to people of very light and dark skin tones by how off their shade ranges are, or by their lack of shade range in general.

Besides the obvious skin tone selection, I would like more multipurpose products. Foundations that don't need primers, eyeshadow/blush/eyebrow powders in pans big enough to handle a decent brush. Lipstick that has a balm built in (that doesn't have terrible pigmentation or melt all over your face).
In minimalist but durable packaging.

Yes I agree! More multipurpose products would be great, very diverse skin tone selections, and products that cater to all skin types and skin imperfections like acne, hyper pigmentation, dark spots, etc.

COLOR! All these companies produce is bland neutral eyeshadow pallets. Color doesn't have to be a bright pink, it can be as simple as incorporating a few greens, or even blues into a collection!
