I'm bouncing around the idea of getting ombre or balayage. I'm really loving the ashy, cool toned blonde colors.
The thing that's conflicting me right now is that I have a lot of orange tones (? I have no idea what I'm talking about) in my hair. I have a medium to darker colored brown hair.
Would this color of blonde be achievable in one session? Also, would it even look good to have brown hair w/ a warmer color on top and an ashy blonde on the bottom?

If your hair is more towards medium then one session should do it. And I'd say keep it simple. Just brown on top blonde on bottom

I would do it!! My hair is almost golden! It's a dark blonde and a very, very light brown and I got ballyage and I'm absolutely loving it!! Go for it and if you do it be sure to post a picture! ♡

The amount of sessions you will need will depend on if you have virgin hair or not. Specifically if you have box dye on your hair or henna it will be especially hard to achieve and ashy blonde. In my experience, it takes at least 2 sessions to get to the point of being really happy with the color, usually more. Typically it gets better with each appointment :)
