I have a decent amount of shadow palettes, ranging from 5 pan to 16 pans. But only 15 stay on the vanity. My fav 15. And even though I love them all, there is only ONE, where I have bought a BACK-UP for. Mainly because I can do a whole eye with. It has a base/browbone, transition, lid, shimmer, micro-glitter and liner shade. The 2nd reason, is because it's a limited edition that is not being sold anymore except for ebay. It is my Bobbi Brown Rich Chocolate Palette. Typically Bobbi Brown Palettes are hit and miss when it comes to pigmentation and longevity and most of her palettes look alike. I have 3 other of her palettes which I like but not as much as Rich Chocolate. My question to you all is, have you every repurchased a PALETTE as a back up even though you haven't finished the first one?

Oh, when I say only 15 stay on my vanity, I mean 15 separate palettes not one-15 pan palette.

The Lorac 1st pro pallet. loved the colors and how easy it is to blend, so when I used up one color I bought a whole new pallet 😁

Just a heads-up, those of you who love the KatVonD Shade & Light Eye Palette, Kat will soon be releasing the Light & Glimmer Eye palette to go with the Shade & Light. Here's a sneak peak.

Here's a close up of one of the eye looks from the new palette. Can we say GORGEOUS?!! This look is right up my alley. I like a little bit of an edgy eye look but don't like to use "color" much. I'll use some duo chrome in the center of my eye sometimes but mainly I'm a neutral kinda gal.

I have repurchase the morphe 35o palette because I hit pan in some colors. I just love all the shades in this palette that I do not mind repurchasing it again.

I have the Morphe 35O also, not to mention, the 35W and 35N. Don't think I'll be hitting pan on those anytime soon.

Beautiful colors, Marleen! I can see why you're reaching for it so often.

I've never bought a back up to anything other than lipstick or skincare, but I don't wear make-up daily, especially shadows so that may be why. I can understand why, when you really love something, a back-up is a must-have.

Do you find you use it less because you're kind of savoring it and saving it for only certain days..or using a lighter hand to make it last longer? Also, thanks for the peek at Kat's new shadows.  :)

I could see how that palette would work well,I like that it has a glittery shade. I like some of the colors.
That's my personal issue, I haven't come across a palette that's warm enough for my complexion/preference usually only a couple of shades work for me :/

I find that the palettes that are warm toned seem to not be warm/saturated enough for me or they work better for fairer warm complexions because usually the transition shades are around my skin tone but greyish.

I kinda just make my own palettes with colors that tend to be a bit more warm toned/saturated. I seem to have a lot of golds, caramel browns, orange +corals for transition and pale yellow/cream colors for highlight

Rozberry, yes...I don't use it that often. My original is about 5 years old. Haven't hit pan yet, but I've put a dent in most of the colors. It's just a matter of time. It's funny, coz I'm sure I probably have similar colors in my other palettes. But I like having the perfect combination of colors in one small palette. And I don't like de-potting products, because I'm a sucker for beautiful packaging.

Aurora, that glitter shade is not like most glitter shadows. It's micro glitter on a sheer brown base. When applied, you don't see the brown shade, just the glitter. But because the glitter is so small, it looks like my eyes are tearing (I wear it on the inner tear duct area). It doesn't read glitter, it gives more of a twinkling eye effect. If you like warm shades, have you tried the Becca Rouge Palette? Richly warm without actually veering into the orange family.

Aurora, You're welcome. I think there are two Ombre palettes. Just make sure you look for the Ombre ROUGE one.
