Hi all! I can't decide between the violet Voss holy grail palette and the huda beauty rose gold palette, so I need some assistance.

I have the Modern Renaissance palette, but I'm looking for more glittery shades (I love the gold in this palette, and I'm looking for pinks, nudes etc.of a similar consistency). I use a setting spray on my brush when picking up the gold which makes it more metallic which I quite like, and is the kind of smooth consistency I'm looking for. Does anyone have a personal preference between the Holy Grail or Rose Gold palettes, and if so, why? Thank you guys 😘

I haven't used the Violet Voss palette but in my opinion the Huda Rose Gold palette was awful, the mattes were chalky and dry and the metal shades were flakey.

I'm in the opposite boat as Alexis. I haven't used the Huda Beauty palette but I bought the Violet Voss one and I really regret it. The pigmentation was abysmal. They swatch really well, but when you apply them to the eye nothing shows up, even when you use your finger. I would not recommend the Violet Voss.

I've tested both as a friend picked them up and honestly, I wouldn't purchase either. I agree with both ladies on their performance. Equally disappointing and certainly not inexpensive.

I'd build my own shadows with Inglot before I'd invest in either of these.

Maybe try a Morphe palette? They have really nice pigmentation and a good variety of shades, I have a few of their palettes and I love them.
