I think that's the correct order but you should switch the moisturizer and facial oil, because the moisturizer locks in the oil. However, in many makeup tutorials you see facial oil right before makeup. If it's wrong I'm sorry but I'm not an expert. Definitely an interesting question!

I find that facial oil penetrates my skin better before moisturizer. I consulted with my skincare expert (she has 20 years experience as an esti) and she says this is her preferred method as well. Some people like to mix a couple of drops of oil into their moisturizer and that's fine too. When people apply oil right before makeup, I think it's to achieve a luminous finish as opposed to skincare benefits.
