I do like the formula, it feels very velvety and smooth on the lips and doesn't dry them out. Part of that is because it isn't a dry down formula. It does transfer, also due to it not drying down.

Great post Jess! I'm curious to know about the nyx lingerie ones, how's the staying power, are they drying, anything you could think off! I have Beauty Mark from the line just laying in my draw and I still haven't tried it one!

Awesome post! I'm borderline obsessed with lipstick and NYX is my ride or die brand.
To answer Sabrina's question, NYX Lip Lingerie is not my favorite collection of theirs but it does contain my favorite shade that they put out, which is Exotic. The formula is a full dry down liquid lip with a hint of licorice scent/taste and verrrrry long staying power, better than most others I've worn. But as we all know, the longer it stays on the more drying it is on the lips. It's nothing that can't be fixed with a little lip scrub and sleeping with Vaseline on though.
IMO, their best formula is the Liquid Suede collection which is a dream to wear. But the shades are kinda funky. The Lingerie collection has the prettiest shades, nudes, pinks, greiges, mochas, but the formula could be more forgiving.

Sabrina, thank you! Like Cara said, they last throughout the entire day. I've worn them to an 8 hour shift at work (coffee shop) and then gone out for dinner; without having to reapply. They do fade a little throughout the day but it looks natural, nothing to worry about. They are fairly drying, I always use a Lush lip scrub first and then moisturize while applying the rest of my face before doing my lips. The only downside is some of the shades, like corset which is my favourite, can apply a little bit patchy and require a little extra effort to get a good application. On the bright side of that point, they don't flake off when layered so that's a bonus!
Cara, I love NYX too! And I totally agree with the Liquid suede, they're so creamy. I do love the funky shade variety!

I have Honeymoon but it's so patchy on my lip!! It doesn't turn out nice like how I see the models have. Also the applicator sucks :(

My favourite liquid lipsticks are The Body Shop ones!! They are matte, have an amazing formula and last for hours! ♡
