I'm looking for a new powder and concealer, for the powder I want something mostly used over face to set but really give that flawless finish, but the few times my skin is clear I can use on its own. For concealer I'm looking for a really good one that will cover pimples and spots really well. I'm pale and have mostly oily skin. I was looking at bareminerals original formula powder and the nars concealer, but any other suggestions would be very helpful!

The only concealer I really like is a drugstore product. You may have tried it but it's the Fit Me concealer by Maybelline. I like it a lot. ❤❤

I personally have two powders.
A powder to set will actually set your makeup but offers little to no coverage.
There are powder foundations but they don't do so well at setting makeup and due to the coverage and overall formula can cause your face to look cakey fairly easily.

I've tried using a powder foundation to set my makeup (I have oily skin) and it just made me get oily more quickly and caused creasing.

With that being said, I think a great setting powder for oily skin is the Palladio rice powder in Translucent.
As for coverage, I prefer the MAC Studio Fix powder, just try to get a shade lighter and spray with water because if you get a color that matches on clean skin it'll end up looking darker as your oils produce. My shade looks a bit light in the pan but matches me spot on.
Studio Fix has way more shades than the Bare minerals plus the bare minerals gives a glowy look that doesn't translate well on oily skin.

As far as concealer, I think the nars one is better for under the eyes. If you want one for pimples, try a fuller coverage cream which tends to be a little drier but sticks a bit better and covers better overall.
The kryolan dermacolor is good (they have a refill pan that has a common concealer amount for $5 I believe) there's the studio finish concealer. Pretty much any that are in a pot that are drier tend to work better for covering up pimples

I'm personally not a fan of the Bareminerals of powder. It makes my foundation look very dry and cakey. My favorite powder is the It cosmetics bye bye pores powder. It makes my skin look really smooth!

Agree with Aurora- you would need a powder foundation if you want to wear it on its own. My skin doesn't get along with MAC foundations for some reason so I've used Too Faced Cocoa PF and Smashbox Photo Filter PF. Like them both. For bulletproof concealer coverage, I like MUFE Full cover concealer. It comes in a squeeze tube and is great at covering both large areas of redness from breakouts and tiny blemishes (I use a flat detail brush for this). Hope this helps.

I ended up purchasing a powder foundation from 100% pure- I'll let you know how I like it :)
