So I have some scars on my arms (I don't like talking about it much) that just won't go away. They never fade. Anyway, is there a way I could use makeup or something that could cover it all day during school and other activities? Thanks a bunch!

Are they raised or is it just discoloration? There's really nothing you can do if they're raised/textured, unfortunately, but you can color correct and concealer any discoloration.

They are white and just straight lines. Some are purplish red outside with a white inside (like a purpley red ring around the white). What colors would I use?

None of them are raised.

Even if they are not raised, it will be difficult to conceal if the texture is visibly different. A super pigmented concealer the same color as your skin is probably your best bet. Trying to overcompensate with something darker will just draw attention. Try visiting your local Sephora/Ulta to see if you can find something.

You can always buy colour correcting kits with greens and blues and oranges. Nyx do a good, cheap one, for a purple scar, use orange or yellow then blend before putting on foundation/concealer, when blended follow by putting on your foundation/concealer, that should make them blend in nicely.

I agree with Hannah on the NYX color correcting palette. The yellow in that kit should neutralize the red and purple tones and then follow with a skin colored concealer. Make sure to powder it to help it last longer.
